- Curtis Reitz has devoted most of his professional life to the University of Pennsylvania. He acccepted an invitation to join the law school faculty before completing his third year. His commitment to education led him to serve as Provost, then Vice-President of the University in hopes of reinvigorating the undergraduate curriculum and securing firm funding for the institution. He also has served as a Commissioner of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, and as co-reporter (with his son) of the American Bar Association's Criminal Standards Project
